Reports: the four built-in views
The reports page at /client/reports has four canned tabs, each answering a question the dashboard only summarizes:
| Tab | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Collections | How much has been collected, and when |
| Aging | How the portfolio breaks down by time in market |
| Payments | Payment volume and trend over time |
| Status | The current status distribution across your accounts |
Using a report
1. Pick the tab for your question.
2. For Collections and Payments, choose a period — month-to-date, quarter-to-date, year-to-date, or last 12 months. Aging and Status always show the current portfolio picture, so the period does not apply to them.
3. The chart and its summary tiles update immediately.
4. Export CSV downloads the data behind the tab you are on.
Which tool for which job
- Dashboard — the ten-second daily read.
- Canned reports (this page) — a standard question over a chosen period, exportable.
- Report builder — a custom view the canned tabs do not cover, which you can save and re-run.
Common questions
- The numbers differ slightly from my own system. Check the period boundaries first — most discrepancies are date-window mismatches. Then compare against the remittance CSVs, which are the line-item source of truth for money movement.
- Can reports be emailed on a schedule? Not from the portal today — download on demand, or ask your account team about recurring exports.
